Ocean County Mayors Association to Hold Landmark Meeting on Revitalization of Towns Destroyed by Superstorm Sandy
Florham Park, NJ - On Tuesday, December 10, 2013, the Ocean County Mayors’ Association will hold a landmark meeting where Buddy Young, Director, Crowder Gulf and a former FEMA Director; will address the Mayors from counties affected by Superstorm Sandy on how to take advantage of funding to re-build their towns.
Both the topics of FEMA 404406 MONIES and NEW JERSEY STATE LAWS ON EMINENT DOMAIN speak to how these towns can be revitalized. Information on a new law that will make it easier to pursue re-development projects in a simplified fashion will be shared. Twenty to thirty Mayors are expected to attend.
