Kimberly Arcement to Gulf Coast Operation

Full-service engineering and environmental firm continues to build its coastal services team in the Gulf Region.

Florham Park, NJ – Matrix New World Engineering, Land Surveying and Landscape Architecture, P.C. (Matrix) is pleased to welcome Kimberly Arcement as a Senior Environmental Scientist. Kimberly will provide technical support to the Gulf Coast Operations group in Baton Rouge.

With more than 15 years of experience as an Environmental Scientist and a Coastal Resource Scientist, Kimberly conducted Natural Resources Damage Assessments (NRDA) in Black Bay Field for wetland and wildlife impacted by the BP Deepwater Horizon oil release in the Gulf of Mexico, and developed beneficial use and long-term plans for dredge material displaced by hydro-modification activities. She is certified in ASTM E1527 Environmental Site Assessments, Wetland Delineations, National Wetland Inventory Classification System, FEMA Incident Command & National Incident Management System, Infrared Thermography Mapping and more. 

Kimberly holds a B.S. in Environmental & Sustainable Resources from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (ULL), and continued her education at Tulane University in Ecosystem Science, and at ULL with the National Wetlands Research and Mapping Center. Her knowledge and talents include the preparation of NEPA compliance documents, drafting MOUs and Programmatic Agreements for NHPA compliance, and coastal permitting.
