Matrix Build its Gulf Coast Environmental & Ecological Compliance & Permitting Team
Florham Park, NJ - Matrix New World Engineering, Inc. (Matrix) is pleased to announce that Lee Womack has joined the Baton Rouge, Louisiana office, one in a series of recent hires to build its capabilities on the Gulf Coast.
Lee holds a M.S. in Wildlife from Louisiana State University and has nine years of experience in environmental and ecological compliance including wetland delineations, Section 10/404 permitting, Coastal Use Permitting, State Water Bottoms Permitting, and Mitigation Banking in the New Orleans, Vicksburg, Mobile, Little Rock, Galveston, Savannah, Charleston, Tulsa, and Fort Worth Districts of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. As an environmental scientist, Lee has delineated over 28,000 acres in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Arkansas, South Carolina and Oklahoma.
Mr. Womack has conducted wetland analyses and secured regulatory permits for over 70 Department of Transportation road and bridge projects in the states of Louisiana and Mississippi, and has conducted environmental surveys for several FERC and non-FERC regulated pipeline projects including Shell Pipeline Company’s Westward Ho Pipeline, Energy Transfer Companies’ (ETC) Tiger Pipeline, ETC’s Lonestar Pipeline, Cheniere LNG’s Creole Trail Pipeline, Kinder Morgan’s Utica to Marcellus Pipeline, and Dixie Pipeline Company’s Mont Belvieu, Texas to Apex North Carolina Main Line Pipeline. In addition, Lee has played key roles in the restoration, planning, and establishment of 28 mitigation banks in Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Oklahoma.
Lee comes to us, most-recently, from Providence Engineering and Environmental Group in Baton Rouge where he was a project manager and supervisor in their Natural Resources Services Group.
